In today’s podcast, Nicola updates us on her adventures using Instagram and what she and her daughter, Phoebe, are learning by implementing Nathan Chan’s course.
In the Show..
Judith’s had a week off from the podcast while Nicola was in Oz as well as from her Small Business Big Magic group calls and it was all triggered by envy of half-term and deciding not to work the 366th day in 2016, 29th February. And Nicola’s back from an impromptu trip to SuperFastBusiness Live 2016 in Sydney. Where in our previous episode she talked herself out of it, she simply woke up one morning and changed her mind.
- What’s Fuelled Their Fire?
Judith was going to talk about something to do with accountability, but instead this section is given over to Nicola’s tales of being brave and how travel broadens the mind and how she would encourage her kids – and everyone – to do more of it.
- Client Opportunity of the Week
Following on from previous talk about Instagram, Judith draws more info out of Nicola about why we might all consider using it as yet another string to our marketing bow.
- Words of the Week
Judith lets Nicola off choosing a word this week as jetlag catches her on the hop, and herself chooses Flexibility, theme of this week’s podcast in many ways.
- Project Updates
Nicola’s Facebook team have worked well while she’s been away. She intends to create a sales mechanism for her FB Ads course and talks about the need to make a video in regard to her own Terms & Conditions. Judith talks about weeks 2 and 3 in one of her two prototype JVs, a 6-week crash course in business start-ups for Mums.
- Who or What’s Impressed?
Judith is impressed by Nicola’s trip to Sydney, and Nicola tells us about the films she found memorable on the plane – Burnt with Bradley Cooper and The Dressmaker with Kate Winslet.
