This week Judith and Nicola asked listeners what they’d like to hear them talk about in Client Challenge of the Week and they received a couple of requests to say more about variations to marketing strategies for digital products from those who are marketing physical products, specifically for Lisa and Alice. Pin back your luggoles, Ladies!
In the Show..
Nicola’s been to Digital Kent and re-connected with Thomas Power. She’s also been up at 5 a.m. podcasting with Mike Russell on his podathon #UKPOD.
Judith’s had the survey on behalf of the woman buying her London home and despite what she said last week about not blogging her upcoming adventures, she’s co-created a new blog site in 5 days with Nicola’s Sister Sarah of TinyWebServices.com. More news follows once the adventure begins in a month or two.
- What’s Fuelled Their Fire?
Nicola is even more obsessed this week with the proliferation of different uses for new and old social media platforms. She’s using Anchor for audio and still loving Facebook Live video.
Judith’s excited by the realisation that the Own It! Virtual Summit will not only grow the podcast but monetise it proactively and fast, whereas waiting for organic growth and sponsorship opportunities is both reactive and slow. Typically for two Creators, Nicola and Judith have taken control for their financial future of their podcast joint venture from just one chance remark.
- Client Challenge of the Week
Judith and Nicola talk endlessly about sales and marketing for digital products and services, but what if your business sells physical products? Listen in for some special tips and creative ideas from Nicola.
- Words of the Week
Judith chooses Pecuniary (of or relating to money) and Nicola loves Social Media.
- Project Updates
N&J have recorded two speakers for their summit already, created a Facebook Live broadcast about the idea, got to grips with Trello to manage the project which is much larger than one might expect, created a Thunderclap campaign and a website.
- Who or What’s Impressed?
Nicola is impressed with Mike Russell and his podathon who was simultaneously broadcasting across FIVE channels – Blab, Spreaker, Periscope, Facebook Live and You Tube Live. Wow!
Judith’s impressed by her client and former London dentist, Kath Hockey, who is now an artist and illustrator living and working in Spain. Kath has launched a Kickstarter campaign for an illustrated poem about depression called The Black Dawg. Support Kath’s Kickstarter here from as little as €5.
