In the Show..

Nicola’s deliberately set about increasing efficiency in her business and her life and talks about a surprise visit from her window cleaner when she was in the shower! And she talks about fun, fun, fun, helping a client get to the top of a leader board for an upcoming launch. Judith has to cull some of the daily reminders from her diary in order to be able to breathe this week. She’s having a very busy one after a few days off.

  • What’s Fuelled Their Fire?

Judith’s excited about “Can Do” businesses, people who – without bending over backwards – nevertheless provide helpful, useful and responsive service to their clients and customers.

Nicola’s fire is fuelled this week by Periscope and specifically  ‘scopes by Dan Norris and Derek Cowan, who is motorbiking through Vietnam.

Denise Duffield-Thomas’ video on the differences between how men and woman sell:

  • Client Challenge of the Week

N&J debate how and why to build your business up to a place where you might want to sell it. How Judith did that accidentally with her firm of accountants and her travel agency, and why Nicola is doing that now with Clicks & Leads. Hear how Frank Kern and Ed Dale did that with their micro publishing business. What records will potential purchasers want to see and how will they value your entrepreneurial baby which you gave birth to?

  • N&J Project Updates

Nicola has finally cracked her own lead generation system for her business, having been doing that well for clients for months. Judith’s achieved the same thing in her new project which is still on for launch on 14th July – next week. And they both agree on the joy of international/global “complete strangers” in your diary – that’s how you know your marketing is working.

  • Who or What’s Impressed?

Judith is impressed by Danny the chair man, and finding a vet who will visit. And Nicola raves about Steli Afti’s sales system
