In the Show..

Nicola’s children are back from a holiday in Ibiza with their Dad while Nicola’s been for her first grief counselling appointment. Judith is back on the green juice, 50% fluent in French after two months with Duolingo, working on two keyboards simultaneosly, both of which have at least one letting malfunctioning (!) and she’s realised she’s only worked 67 hours in July. This last realisation is important because it is what she said she wanted to achieve, space in her life to enjoy afternoons in the sunshine, of which there has been plenty in the UK recently.

  • What’s Fuelled Their Fire?

Nicola surprises Judith by explaining the extent to which she is getting into woo woo with Tony Robbins’ documentary I Am Not Your Guru, the Law of Attraction, Brian Cox on the BBC, Vishen Lakhiani’s video How To Be Unf***withable and his book The Code of the Extraordinary Mind. And Judith is enjoying her clients sharing their holiday photos on Facebook, illustrating that they are enjoying wonderful lives which is central to her work with them.

  • Client Challenge/Opportunity of the Week

#12 of 28 Surefire Strategies for Business and Personal Success by Thomas J. Leonard, taken from his book The Portable Coach, is Eliminate Delay.

Respond immediately to your every task or concern, take pride in doing it. Set up a system and make sure anyone who deals with you never experiences delay. Exert extra effort to learn quickly and immediately integrate whatever changes are necessary. Here are some tips to guide you:

  • When faced with a difficult decision, rather than trying to process the pros and cons, figure out how to reduce risk and consequences of both options instead.
  • Procrastination is a form of anger/resentment. Identify what you’re ticked about that is causing you to procrastinate.
  • When you base your life on your values, your decisions and actions come easily and delay becomes negligible.
  • Words of the Week

Nicola picks Segmentation as she’s involve in doing rather a lot of that at the moment. Judith chooses Quaintrelle, a woman who emphasizes a life of passion, expressed through personal style, leisurely pastimes, charm, and the cultivation of life’s pleasures.

  • Project Updates

Judith invites Nicola to update her on the progress of the two sales letters for the summit recordings and, live on air, they debate the next steps, an initial opt-in, the offering of a sample recording, targeting a personal development niche interested in inspiration and something called co-registration. Nicola tells of her continuing adventres with Facebook Live, still aiming to achieve 30 days.

  • Who or What’s Impressed?

Judith thought she was going to have to say “no-one” for the first time in ninety episodes until a very reluctant client bravely showed up to a coaching call when she really didn’t want to. And Nicola is impressed by John Penberthy, a YouTube genius, specifically his Tube Traffic Mastery course.
