In the Show..

Jacqueline Rogers of The Athena Network is Nicola’s first stand-in guest during the five weeks of Judith’s August holiday.  Nicola and Jacqueline warm up for the show by discussing their children and grandchildren and white-labelling with Amazon and Ali Baba.

  • What’s Fuelled Their Fire?

Jacqueline has been absorbed by old books on metaphysical topics, she mentions Thomas Troward and Wallace Wattles, of whom more later. Nicola succumbed to John Penberthy’s You Tube video training she mentioned last week.

  • Client Challenge of the Week

Are you tempted by the seductions of the new when it comes to your own business or would be it better to be exploring the hidden potential of the business you already own? How to fall back in love with your existing business, think of it like a marriage, enjoy date nights and more. What would you love to create and can you be doing that with what you have already started, or will you succumb and start something new? Nicola and her guest describe that they both have a self-imposed embargo on anything new.

  • Words of the Week

Jacqueline chooses Integration and Nicola selects Passion.

  • Project Updates

Jacqueline is editing Wallace Wattles’ The Science of Getting Rich and updating it for a female readership in the 21st century. She has to get the final edit to the publisher within five days. Nicola explains why she’s slashed and burned her list of anyone who doesn’t open or click, following Ryan Levesque’s book Ask.

  • Who or What’s Impressed?

Jacqueline is loving ITV’s Brief Encounters based on Jacqueline gold’s book Good Vibrations, It tells the stories of women who started party planning in their own homes in the lingerie and sex toy business in the 1980s as a way of becoming business owners and supplementing their income. Nicola again recommends Prof Brian Cox on the BBC on Forces of Nature, which scientific thought is backing up her focus on woo woo right now, how and why she’s finding it both comforting and mind-blowing at the same time.
