In the Show

Nicola’s been helping a serious business friend by giving him an overview of everything he needs to know about online marketing to lead his team. Judith’s been out and about in posh pubs in pretty villages and falling in love with Wiltshire. The show is recorded on 21 st June, the day of the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, and Judith starts with some facts and figures about daylight hours in England and Stoupa.

What’s Fuelled Their Fire?

Nicola’s thrilled with the news about IGTV, vertical video on Instagram which can be up to 60 minutes long instead of just 60 seconds. Judith’s wrapping up with two clients, always a bittersweet occasion, despite many surprising wins for both coach and client.

Focus of the Week

If we thought the business case for blogging was over, we were wrong. Nicola reminds us about the hows and whys of creating blog content, so that we can achieve free traffic to our websites, the importance of having a wholly-owned home hub on the internet and not relying solely on social media, given that your platform of choice could disappear at any time taking your business with it.

Words of the Week

Judith picks Thinking and Nicola chooses Treacle.

Project Updates

Judith’s been thinking about her will and her net worth, and Nicola has remembered how much she likes selling things.

Who or What’s Impressed?

Escape to the Chateau DIY on Channel 4 and Million Pound Menu on BBC2. The Staircase on Netflix and the story of Jose Andres the Spanish American chef who fed the hungry in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria struck in 2017.
