Struggling to make your first few sales? What if there’s nothing wrong with you, but you simply haven’t yet found your offer that converts?
In the Show..
Today’s show is recorded on 8th March 2017, International Women’s Day and this year the theme and hashtag is #BeBoldForChange.
Nicola’s hosted her first live webinar for a very long time and made three sales, and Judith’s been to the beautician and out to lunch. Nicola’s got goth hair and Judith’s got goth nails, which strikes them both as amusing.
- What’s Fuelled Their Fire?
Judith was mentioned on Facebook in the same breath as Lady Gaga and Helen Mirren as being one woman’s IWD inspiration as “forever calm and grounded, unashamedly herself in all things”. She was chuffed by that description and recognition, all the more for it being how she sees herself. This ties in with the discussion at the end of the show about how to convey your personal brand and what you stand for.
Nicola’s enjoying all over again the concept of simple systems. She explains the Why What How Model and talks more about that later in the show in Client Challenge of the Week.
- Client Challenge/Opportunity of the Week
Nicola teaches the listeners the value of finding your first offer that converts and getting to that place as soon as possible. Nicola says she wants to have four or five of those so she can rotate them without having to create new all the time. She talks about courses and her membership site and app and puts all of this teaching into that context. Judith listens and comments and questions, as per.
- Words of the Week
Nicola chooses Sell and Judith picks Kindness.
- Project Updates – all about the podcast
Own It! has leapt up from #80 in the iTunes Top 100 to #79! And Libsyn stats are strongly up on the 10 day average, gently up on the 90 day average but slightly down on the 30 day average due to a recent one-day huge download spike, as yet (and perhaps forever) unexplained.
- Who or What’s Impressed?
Judith brings some Amazon Prime drama recommendations in Goliath and Startup. Nicola and Judith compare notes on ITV’s Broadchurch and BBC’s The Replacement, both agreeing on this week’s top notch TV drama.
Nicola mentions Gary Vee interviewing Tony Robbins about his latest book Unshakeable: Your Financial Freedom Playbook, more readable than his huge tome called Money.
Judith, not normally a massive Gary Vee fan, really enjoyed this article which Nicola linked to on Facebook, all about content driving organic traffic. A brief final discussion about personal branding breaks out on the back of this.
